ViaVia harganat is situated between neighbouring nomadic families and the Unesco world heritage site made up off the Deerstones and bronze age graves scattered around.
You will be staying next to one of the families for 24 h in a separate yurt.
At 6 pm go to a local family, settling in your yurt, go to collect mother cows, put out the calves for 3-5 minutes till mother’s milk start to run, hold up the calves till nomadic lady finish to milk, after milking release the calve and start next ones.
After milking have a dinner with them and boil the milk and play traditional games.
Next morning bring the mother cows, milk the cows, boil the milk, make breakfast and produce dairy products as cream, yoghurt and aaruul or dried yoghurt.
Herding sheep till the afternoon and bring back the herd to milk, have lunch and produce dairy products with the sheep milk till 6pm. Take with you a bag of homemade goodies, to let your family and friends back home taste!
This is an all inclusive program and very interesting experience.
