Sightseeing around

At the north side of the lodge there are mountains with beautiful red granite rock formations.  You can see more than 800 burial mounds only around this Holy mountain range, regarded as sacred for many thousands of years.

Going up the mountain valley you pass a 3000 years old half opened grave and hike up to a vulture nest. The wildlife includes marmots, foxes, wolves and hovering eagles above.

From the top of the mountain you have a panoramic of view 360 degrees with the beautiful Delger Murun river valley in front and the endless steppe behind.

Coming down to the east side of the mountain you can see the famous Bronze Age Deer Stone site with 14 standing rocks and amazingly carved deer images on them.

After thousands of years through harsh weather conditions, the carvings and paintings are good preserved. The one in front has a very precise carved human face.

The total length is 20 km and the highest point is 1700 m above sea level
